Working Vintage Executive Commodore SX-64 Luggable Portable Computer MPS 803 Printer
Back when this came out in 1984, it cost as much as a new car. Most people have not seen one of these in person.
I'm no expert on Commodore equipment. I don't even know the commands to launch a program. I did plug it in and turned it on and it booted almost instantly and very quietly. It does come with software that is shown in the photos. The color screen is very bright and clean. It was really hard to photograph the screen while on. Kept getting the bands on the photo because of the different frame rates. But in person it looks beautiful.
It might be one of the nicest examples available. It has been well taken care of. I don't see any crack or breaks in the plastic. The moveable handle works and locks in all directions. From what I have read, you can run any commodore 65 cartridge on the top port or 5.25" floppy disc drive. It has a beautiful keyboard that doesn't look like it has any wear at all from use. Still has the factory foam pad to protect the keyboard when attached to the computer for travel.
Included is the original MPS 803 Dot Matrix printer, cord and box. There are also manuals for the computer, printer and software. Of course the keyboard has the very exclusive impossible to find cord.
