Vintage Apple Macintosh II M5000 Computer pwr cord~RESTORED 2GB SSD/OS 7.5.3/8MB.
This awesome Macintosh II was the first desktop Apple created and cost as much as a car back in the day. The batteries have been cut out and replaced with 2-2AA Holders so easy to swap when they die. The 800k floppy has been lubricated and cleaned and works great. It has a good ejection and a test disk made on the machine will be included in this auction along with a power cord. The ginormous 5.25 40MB SCSI drive is dead, real shocker right?! I’ve updated it to a 1.84GB SCSI2SD instead. That’s 1,840MB instead of 40MB. That should hold you pretty well. It has the maximum 8MB RAM and OS 7.5.3 is loaded and ready to go.
These machine are terribly hard to find working and I won’t even attempt to try and fix the motherboard revision with all the leaky capacitors because they suck and are a pain. This is the revision without them and they hold up 100X better than the other one. The case is almost perfect except the front left upper corner has a tiny hairline crack and 2 of the clips that hold the front of the case are slightly broken but most of these clips are as the plastic is thinner there and they all get a bit brittle. The clips are only seen when you remove the cover and the tiny 3/16” hairline crack is pretty unnoticeable as you can see from pic 1. That’s a very good case for being 33 years old.

Will be bubble wrapped to the 9’s and shipped FedEx because the post office is the spawn of the devil and breaks everything. My wife literally caught our mailman chucking 3 packages out his mail truck 10’ onto our driveway the other day. What a guy!
