    Description

    For sale one MIPS RM7000 CPU 8 inch wafer designed by Quantum Effect Devices 1999. I'll throw in a MIPS RM7000 CPU 304 pin chip.
    The RM7000 is one of the most beautiful wafers I've ever seen. The photo doesn't do it justice at all. It's just not possible to capture the colors of a metallic rainbow.
    This powerful 64bit CPU designed as a replacement to the R5000 CPU, also has a built-in 256kB level 2 cache added. It was used in the high performance Silicon Graphics ( SGI ) workstations.
