Andrew Lester tried to eliminate the problems that other fins gave gave him, mainly fin ulcers, while still maintaining proper stiffness and thrust.  Freedom Fins combines both of these elements to bring you the latest advancement in swim fin technology.
Freedom Fins were designed with maximum thrust and comfort in mind. They are made with a composite rubber-like material called Surflex which contains silicon and is much softer on the foot, helping to prevent fin ulcers but still maintaining proper stiffness for power. The Freedom Fins are designed with drainage holes at the bottom end of the foot pocket for better drainage and to reduce the chances of getting your toes caught in the drainage hole.
