Absolutely Beautiful Hand-Painted Porcelain Heirloom Doll issued by the Franklin Mint in 1994.
The Doll is named Raphaela, "The Angel of Glad Tidings".
This was the Eighth doll in an annual offering of Christmas Angels and adds to the chorus of several Angel Dolls with musical instruments.
Touted as the 1st Christmas Heirloom Doll created by award winning doll artist Maryse Nicole.
Beautifully gowned in the shimmering velvet and luxurious taffeta with metallic string pearls and golden mesh and sparkling organza.
The doll has a crown wreath of coppery lame leaves and shimmering beads as she holds a genuine wooden lute in her hands.
Doll is 19" tall.

Mostly always stored since new in 1994.  Displayed only a few times during the Christmas Holidays.
