BORG "Trekky" Alto Sax in Very Good Overall Condition w/Case. Serial #19081104.
This sax has been cleaned and adjusted, and plays very good with a clear distinct tone with the included standard mouthpiece. All components (pads, springs, felts, corking) are in very good shape; this sax is ready to play. Since the brand was "Borg", I found that
resistance was futile
when it came to "dressing" it up. Cosmetically, the keys are in great condition, there are no dents, some small dings around the bow, a slight crease on the front bell lip, and very little scuffing. The decals and the turquoise accents can be removed if you desire, but once this horn has been
"assimilated"
, it might be difficult to
resist
this special look. Locutus gave two thumbs up when cutting some cool jazz riffs on the Hollow Deck with this horn! No batteries or recharge is needed for this horn - just you. It comes with the sturdy case (bruised corner, pic #10), a microfiber polishing cloth, a new neckstrap, a black plastic octave key protector cap, and the standard mouthpiece w/ligature, cap, and Rico Plasticover reed. Unfortunately, the transporter is out of order, but UPS says they will be happy to deliver!
